Place and space in art, music and film

Students will be introduced to a range of images showing how places are represented by artists and film-makers. This was a major element of the first part of Peter Knight's Module.

Minecraft has been used by many individuals as a way of creating new landscapes.

The Ordnance Survey have released a map of the whole of the British Isles, created using Minecraft.

  • Isle of Dogs: the city of Megasaki and Trash Island

​

Wes Anderson's latest stop-motion animation (following his earlier treatment of Roald Dahl's 'Fantastic Mr. Fox') tells the story of the banishment of dogs from a futuristic Megasaki City to the city's Trash Island.
